Phonics & Early Literacy Program Learning Pathway

Students move through the Phonics Pathway as their reading skills develop.
Each level builds on the previous one, helping students develop strong decoding skills and reading confidence.

Students who complete the Phonics & Early Literacy Program Pathway are prepared to transition to our Cambridge Reading & Writing Program, where they begin reading longer texts and developing comprehension and writing skills.
Because students begin at different stages of reading development, we recommend completing a short placement assessment before enrolling.

The placement test helps determine the level that will best support your child’s learning progress.
